The time to invest in renewable energy is NOW. With local, state and federal incentives offering amazing rebates it only makes sense to take advantage of this inevitable technology. After all, the money available is limited and will be dispensed on a first come, first served basis. Will you be one of the people who will benefit from these programs? It is up to you to make it happen!
Solar modules harness the sun and turn it into electrical energy through the use of photovoltaic cells in the form of DC (Direct Current) power. This electric energy is then transmitted through an inverter and is sent into your electrical panel where it powers some or all of the electrical loads that would otherwise be supported through the main utility (Longmont Power, Xcel, United Power, etc.). Due to the projected rising costs of energy, solar only makes sense as the investment in the technology provides a fixed and consistent cost. Systems typically last at least 25-40 years and are incredibly low maintenance.
Systems can be configured to be grid tied or off grid depending on the power needs. Systems can also be designed to offset varying levels of the utility bills depending on the needs of the client. Technologies such as wind turbines, back-up generators and battery banks can all be combined to provide for the precise needs of the individual!

Ballot measure 1A energy funding program.
Have you been thinking about installing solar on your home?
Did you know?
There is a possible 5-9 year payback of your system.
There is a current federal grant which pays for 30% of your system
Ballot measure 1A will be providing funding starting 4/1/09 which will fund the remainder of your system through your property taxes.
This funding is limited and will be dispensed on a first come first served basis.
